For Concerts

CHS Choir students provide their own concert attire. Singers wear a simple outfit of long, concert black.

Required Concert Attire

• long-sleeved or 3/4 sleeve solid black dress shirt, blouse, sweater, or combination of solid black separates (appropriate for school)

• nice black pants, or skirt over black opaque tights (no jeans, sweatpants, etc.); black fabric should cover legs down to shoes

• solid black socks or tights/leggings/stockings/hose

• closed-toe, all black shoes with little or no heel (no athletic shoes; no clearly-visible stripes or markings)

Attire should be cleaned, wrinkle-free, and appropriate for professional settings.

Assistance and Support

Need help with concert attire? No problem. Let Ms. Parkes know at least two weeks before the performance, and she will help you get what you need.

Occasionally, more casual performances may require different attire, such as dark blue jeans with a black shirt or CHS Vocal Arts t-shirt. Announcements of such requirements will be made well in advance of the event.
